Free gun locks now are available to the public at the East Patrol Division Station, located at 2640 Prospect Ave., thanks to Project Childsafe.

Residents can request a gun lock at any time by going to the front desk of the station. Like all other Kansas City Missouri Police stations, East Patrol is open 24/7.
