Phone-In/Walk-In Reports

For your convenience, many types of police reports may be filed at Shoal Creek Patrol Station or by contacting the station by phone at 816-413-3400 .  Among the types of reports that may be "walked in" are;

·         Non-Injury Accidents

·         Stolen Autos or Attempt Stolen Auto

·         Stealing

·         Purse Snatching

·         Assault

·         Identity Theft

·         Harassment

·         Property Damage

·         Recovered Property

·         Fraud or Forgery

Depending on the circumstances of the crime, you may be able to phone in your report without responding to the Station. The general rule is, if you have a suspect description, or information on the possible suspect, then the report will have to be taken in person at the station.  If there is no suspect description, the report may be phoned in.

Obtaining Copies of Police Reports

Copies of Police Reports are available 10 business days after the report has been taken. To obtain a copy of the report, you must respond to the station in person, and have your "Case Report Number" and photo identification.

Reports made anywhere within the City of Kansas City may be obtained from Shoal Creek Patrol Station.

You may also file police reports at any division station or by phoning the report to:
