The South Patrol Community Action Team consists of six officers and one sergeant.  The Team utilizes non-traditional methods of policing to solve crime and help build community relationships. These methods include bicycle patrol in neighborhoods, business areas, and Parks. The officers coach local youth in sports such as football, basketball, and baseball at the Y.M.C.A. We also work very closely with city agencies such as Neighborhood Preservation, Parks and Recreation, and Codes Enforcement.
