Crime Free Multi-Housing

North Patrol Crime Free Multi-Housing program recently completed another seminar for area property owners and managers.  The seminar was attended by 28 managers, 2 persons from the MO Attorney General's Office, and police officers from Wichita, KS, La Vista, NE, Overland Park, KS and KCPD.  The next class will be in late Sept. or early Oct.  

 

Another property has become fully certified.  North Village Apartments was awarded their final certificate on July 22, 2002.  

Tiffany Manor Apartments donated 150 stuffed animals to the KCPD.  These toys are used by officers to comfort children at accidents and other traumatic scenes.  The toys were collected at the Northland Safety Day held June 8, 2002

 

  Forest Park Apartments, Briar Hill Apartments, Century 37 Apartments, and Willow Lake Apt's Apartments just recently had a successful crime free housing seminar. These four properties are now Fully Certified Properties that have completed all three phases of the Crime Free Housing Program.  




We will be having our next Crime Free Multi-Housing Seminar on July 16th, 0830 to 1630 hours, at the North Kansas City Community Center. Due to space we are requesting that those wishing to attend RSVP with me at Csicoli@kcpd.org or via fax at 816-437-6207.  This seminar is for landlords and property managers and is Phase I of the Crime Free Multi-Housing Program
