Tactical Response Team III

East Patrol is home to Tactical Response Team III.  Tactical Response Team III is comprised of a group of police officers and their respective supervisors, all of which are superior in physical conditioning and proficient in specialized weapons and tactics.  Being a member of Tactical Response Team III requires a long term commitment to the Team.  This commitment translates into superior teamwork.

Tactical Response Team III is responsible for responding to and handling incidents involving barricaded parties, hostage situations, execution of search warrants, and other miscellaneous tasks.  Being a member of Tactical Response Team III is not only exciting, it is highly respected by all members of the law enforcement community.

Bike Patrol

 Bicycles have been a source of transportation for years.At East Patrol Division, bicycles not only provide transportation, they provide residents of East Patrol Division a highly effective tool in addressing crime.  Officers assigned to a bicycle have the ability to patrol and pursue individuals unlike any other.  These officers commonly utilize alleyways, sidewalks, and open spaces in order to approach an area.  This unique ability allows the officers to catch criminals in the act.  Active criminals have commented that bike officers are a very valid threat toward their chances of getting caught.

Crime Analyst  

Analyzing crime is a difficult job to say the least.  At East Patrol Division, an emphasis is placed on obtaining crime statistics as soon as possible.  The sooner officers and the crime committee members of the community know what to look for and what to look out for, the safer we will all be.  When you look at crime, the questions: who, what, when, where, and how, are so very important.  This is why it is so important to be a good neighbor, and watch out for each other.

East Patrol Property Crimes Section

Residents living within the boundaries of East Patrol Division are very fortunate to have specific detectives working for them.  Detectives at the East Patrol Division Property Crimes Section are assigned every property related crime that occurs within East Patrol Division.

These detectives are experienced and have a fantastic reputation for solving their assigned cases.  Recently, East Patrol Division investigated several burglaries of churches and identified the suspect.   This suspect plead guilty to several of these burglaries and will be sentenced to ten years in prison.  The persistence of these detectives definitely pays off.  Crime does not pay!
