Curriculum
The Missouri Peace Officer Standardized Training (P.O.S.T.) Program mandates 600 hours of structured training.
The Kansas City Regional Police Academy provides more training hours than what is required by P.O.S.T. The total hours provided to each recruit class may vary, based upon what holidays occur within a training schedule and the size of the recruit class, but is generally around 1000 hours.
