Regional Police Academy

Drivers' Training Academy

The mission of the Driver’s Training is to develop a foundation for drivers to make sound decisions and to ensure safe and effective vehicle operation under all conditions.

This foundation is based on each individual’s knowledge of their own skill sets and their understanding of the vehicle they operate.

This training takes place at the KCPD Regional Training Academy on a safe, closed/gated driving course using KCPD cars, where the conditions can be controlled and monitored.
